Homework Expectations

The primary purpose of homework is practice, an extension of the day’s work, time to work on long-term projects or an investigation of something for class discussion, not introduction of a new skill. Students should be able to complete it independently. If unable to complete an assignment independently, please notify your teacher. 7th—8th grade teachers work together as a team to plan for approximately one hour nightly, unless a student opts to take on extra courses or enrichment, such as language, algebra, music, band, etc.

Math & Science 11.5.14

MATH: Students will continue working on their "UNIT TEST" on tomorrow. It wouldn't hurt to continue to study/review lessons 1-7 and complete as many of the review/practice problems they didn't get a chance to finish in class.

SCIENCE: Continued work on "My Own Science" - Parts I and II will be collected on Friday, 11.7.14, and small groups will be presenting their hypothetical experimental inquiry to the class. Observations for Part III of "My Own Science" will be ongoing, in class, throughout this week and next.
